In the summer of 2022, Kallithea, translated from Greek – beautiful view, won a long-awaited and well-deserved award, coming after many successes worldwide, many satisfied customers and key partnerships.One of the largest aviation competitions, traditionally enjoying great interest from people with interests in this field, Kallithea received the award for „Best Two-Seat Autogyro“.
Bensen Days is a competition for amateurs, pilots and aircraft manufacturers, which dates back to the 1970s. In aviation circles, Bensen Days is considered one of the most prestigious events on the calendar.
The main goal is to promote and acquaint the public with the benefits of autogyros, which with each passing edition become more accessible to the general public. To date, autogyros are used in a number of important industries such as agriculture, army, transport services, and of course for amateur flying. In addition to many manufacturers from around the world, the event is attended by certified pilots who can demonstrate the capabilities of each machine and give those who wish to take their first steps in aviation. The initiative is extremely useful for increasing the popularity of autogyros, which, given the many advantages they have, should be significantly more popular.
The evaluation of the machines takes into account all important factors such as top speed, in-flight stability, navigation options, engine types and all other parameters that affect the smooth flight. The competition is usually great because, although this is not the case in the Balkans, there are many manufacturers of this type of machinery worldwide.
